50th Birthday For Men – 1971 Coin Cufflinks

Shout out to anyone looking for a gift for someone in their lives born in 1971.

This was a special year in Ireland due to the fact that decimalization happened. We moved away from the ‘old money’ – Threepence, Sixpence, Crown and moved to pence and pounds in 1971.

In Ireland they minted millions of new coins and we were able to get our hands on 1971 mint 1/2p coins which we made into Cufflinks. These are genuine (not so old) Irish coins which are 50 years this year and we think they are beautiful. Fantastic conversation starter and a special gift for life.
